The Trsteno Arboretum is a green oasis in the summer heat.
In addition to the sea-view pavilion and walking paths, the arboretum hides the Neptune fountain surrounded by water lilies. The predecessor of the arboretum, a Renaissance garden was built in the 15th century by a noble family from Ragusa (now: Dubrovnik), the villa was under renovation when we visited.
