Oslo

Traveling from Malmö to Oslo, crossing the border on Svinesundsbron (Svindesund-bridge) with car, we can see a fjord. The best is to start the sightseeing in Oslo on the top of the Opera house. The building evokes icesheets, we felt there at the first time, that we are close to the pole - Oslo is the world's third northernmost capital.

Fram Museum

Oslo's best museum is maybe the Fram, where that ship is exhibited, with which Amundsen and his companions reached the South pole. The best thing is, that we can get on the ship, and see the cabins marked with names of the crew, where original exhibition objects and wax figures revive the memory of the explorers. Near the museum, there are sculptures of the five explorers.

Frogner Sculpture Park

The Frogner Sculpure Park is located in the inner city areas of Oslo. The park is comfortably walkable during one and a half hour. In the center of the park, there is a pillar standing, covered with human figures, and on the way to the pillar, there are lots of other sculptures and plants.
